SOLROOT SERVICES

Solroot Behavioral Services &  Consultation provides collaborative behavior consultation focused on understanding behavior, building functional skills, and supporting meaningful daily participation.

Behavior Consultation may include:

• Behavioral assessment and observation across settings
• Identification of contributing factors and function of behavior
• Development of individualized behavior support strategies
• Training and collaboration with families, caregivers, DSPs, and providers

All services emphasize dignity, autonomy, and practical strategies that support real-world success.

SBSC is vendored through San Diego Regional Center to provide Behavior Consultation for individuals ages 3 and older. (Vendor #PY4420)

Direct services provide hands-on, individualized support to help individuals build skills, independence, and confidence in everyday life.

Services are delivered in home, community, and natural settings, and are guided by assessment and ongoing collaboration. Solroot provides Behavior Intervention Services for SDP clients, tailored to each individual’s goals and routines.

Direct Services may include:

• Functional communication training and self-advocacy
• Daily living and independence skills
• Safety awareness and community participation
• Emotional regulation and positive engagement

Our approach is naturalistic, non-aversive, and focused on helping skills generalize across settings.

SBSC is not vendored to provide these services through SDRC Traditional Services. Direct Services can be funded privately. Any behavior services for Self Determination Program clients must be pre-approved & align with the approved SDP spending plan, including Code 364 Behavior Intervention Services and related behavior goals in the Individual Program Plan (IPP).

Private Pay & Self-Determination Program (if applicable)

Tailored behavior services are available for private-pay clients and individuals enrolled in the Self-Determination Program (SDP) who need flexible, highly individualized support. Services are built collaboratively to meet the unique needs, goals, and priorities of each client and their support team.

Tailored Services may include:

• Customized behavior support and intervention planning
• Skill-building focused on communication, safety, and independence
• Caregiver, family, and staff training
• Program development for home, community, or adult service settings
• Safety consultation and ongoing problem-solving

Behavior services for Self Determination Program clients must be pre-approved and align with the agreed upon

SDP spending plan, including Code 364 Behavior Intervention Services and related behavior goals in the Individual Program Plan (IPP).
